Terms of Service

Terms of Service · Version 1.2 · Effective October 9, 2026

Plain-language summary: cells.com is an education and navigation service operated by Cells Media, Inc. We explain the science of biological age and cellular medicine. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe anything, and nothing here is medical advice. These Terms explain what we do, what we don’t do, and how we both agree to behave.

1. Who we are

cells.com is operated by Cells Media, Inc. (“Cells Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which also uses the brand name ENCELVA. Our platform at cells.com provides educational information and navigation tools related to biological age and cellular medicine. References to “you” mean anyone who visits, joins the waitlist for, registers for, or uses cells.com.

2. Agreeing to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Cells Media. By joining the waitlist, creating an account (once accounts are available), or otherwise using cells.com, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. We show a link to these Terms and our Privacy Policy when you sign up, so you can read them before you agree.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not join the waitlist or use cells.com.

3. What cells.com is — and what it is not

cells.com is an educational and navigation service. We translate peer-reviewed research into plain language, help you understand biological age test results, and connect you with information about clinical trials and longevity interventions.

cells.com is not:

Nothing on cells.com constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a prescription. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any changes to your care. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number right away.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use cells.com. When you join the waitlist we ask you to confirm this with a checkbox, and by using cells.com you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we learn that someone under 18 has signed up, we will remove their information and close any associated account promptly.

5. Waitlist and accounts

cells.com is currently in early access. Right now, the only way to sign up is our waitlist. When you join, you provide your first name (optional), email address, mobile number (optional), date of birth, and whether you already have a biological-age test result (yes, no, or not sure).

Your waitlist information is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored with encryption at rest by our hosting provider. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and current, and that you will let us know if your contact details change.

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access by any particular date. We may invite people from the waitlist in any order and may change or end the early-access program at any time.

Once accounts are available

We do not offer accounts or logins yet. Once accounts are available, you also agree that:

6. Text messages (SMS)

We are not sending text messages yet. If you give us your mobile number and separately check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring text messages from cells.com about early access, account updates, and related news once our text program begins. Texting is entirely optional: consent to receive texts is not a condition of joining the waitlist, using cells.com, or buying anything.

When we start sending texts:

You can withdraw your SMS consent at any time before texting begins by emailing legal@cells.com. If you change or give up your mobile number, please let us know so texts do not reach someone else. We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.

7. Health information

Today, the only health-related question we ask is the simple yes / no / not sure question on our waitlist form about whether you have a biological-age test result. We do not currently accept health data uploads.

Coming soon: health uploads

In the future, cells.com’s interpretation and navigation features will let you share biological age test results, health data exports from Apple Health or Oura, or lab reports in PDF form. When health uploads become available:

We do not sell your health data, and we never will. We will never sell, rent, or trade your health information.

HIPAA

cells.com is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, and HIPAA does not apply to the information you share with us directly. That is why we describe our planned safeguards as modeled on HIPAA standards rather than as HIPAA compliance.

Consumer health data laws

Some states, including Washington (under its My Health My Data Act) and Nevada (under Senate Bill 370), give you specific rights over “consumer health data.” Where those laws apply, when health uploads open we will:

Details will be in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which will be published before health uploads open.

8. Security incidents

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never happen. If a security incident affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Your privacy

Our Privacy Policy (currently an interim notice at cells.com/privacy) explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us. We will expand it, including a description of the privacy rights you may have depending on where you live — for example, in California, Washington, Nevada, and other states — as cells.com grows.

You can ask us about your information, or ask us to delete your waitlist information, at any time by emailing legal@cells.com.

10. Third-party tests and services

cells.com may recommend third-party biological-age testing providers such as TruAge, Elysium Health, and GlycanAge. These are independent companies. When you purchase a test from them, you enter into a contract with them directly, not with Cells Media.

We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any third-party test, product, or service. We are not responsible for the results, errors, or practices of any third party. Review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party service before using it.

cells.com may receive a referral fee or other compensation if you purchase a recommended test through a link on our platform. Where this is the case, we will disclose it clearly and close to the recommendation. You are never required to use our links.

11. Membership and payment

Nothing is charged today. cells.com does not take payments yet, and joining the waitlist is free. We plan to offer cells.com free for your first three months, followed by optional usage-based paid membership tiers.

When paid membership launches

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

13. Intellectual property

All content on cells.com — including text, data, graphics, articles, action plans, and software — is owned by or licensed to Cells Media, Inc. ENCELVA and the cells.com name and logos are brands used by Cells Media. You may read and print content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

When health uploads become available, you will keep ownership of any health data or test results you upload. You will grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely to provide the services you request.

14. Leaving cells.com and termination

You can stop anytime. You may stop using cells.com or leave the waitlist at any time by emailing legal@cells.com. Once accounts are available, you will also be able to close your account; if you have a paid plan, closing your account will cancel it as described in the Membership section.

We may suspend or end access. We may remove you from the waitlist or suspend or terminate your access to cells.com if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we need to protect cells.com, our users, or others. We may also discontinue cells.com or any feature. Where reasonable, we will give you advance notice, and if we ever discontinue a paid service for reasons other than your breach, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.

After you leave, we will handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will continue to apply.

15. Disclaimers

CELLS.COM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CELLS MEDIA, INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

Biological age science is an emerging field. Research evolves. Content that was accurate when published may become outdated. Nothing on cells.com substitutes for personalized advice from a qualified clinician.

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CELLS MEDIA, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, HEALTH OUTCOMES, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF CELLS.COM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF CELLS.COM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cells Media, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of cells.com, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of cells.com will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. Nothing in these Terms takes away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the state where you live.

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at legal@cells.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including as new features such as accounts, health uploads, and paid membership launch. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of cells.com after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will not apply a material change to fees or renewal terms for a paid plan without the notice and consent described in the Membership section.

If you do not agree to a change, you may leave the waitlist or stop using cells.com before the revised Terms take effect.
